S - A: Special A anime review

Have you ever felt how it’s like on the top of everyone and it feels like it goes on forever? It feels so good that you do not want anybody to take that feeling away from you. Then one day after all your happiness and triumphs somebody suddenly takes that away from you and make you wake up back into reality that you can never be at the top all of the time. If that would ever happen to me I’d spend my entire life to beat that person who took away something very important about me. Good thing I’m not at the top. I’ve been there but there are more things in life than being at the top and you won’t be able to see those small little things at the bottom that gives you great joy when you’re at the top looking down on everyone.

Special A is a story of a little girl named Hikari Hanazono who felt that she was best at anything and that she would never lose to anyone. Then one faithful day on her sixth year as a little girl her dad introduced someone to her, a boy name Kei Takishima who’s father was close with Hikari’s father. Both their fathers were hard core pro wrestling fans. So Hikari who felt that she was best at anything challenged Kei to a wrestling match where she was beat up to the last pulp. Ever since that day Hikari swore to take revenge on Kei and beat him in any aspects he is in, may it be in school, sports, tournaments or anything that makes up a competition to beat Kei. She swore so bad that she even went to the school where Kei attended even if their family could barely afford the tuition fees. Every since then she has always fallen 2nd to Kei and always felt that Kei was a formidable rival. So the most of the story revolves on all attempts of Hikari in defeating Kei and unknowingly she is not aware that Kei was already falling in love with her.

The entire story revolves around in Hakusen Academy. An elite school where ranks really matter. In fact every section of every year level is divided in to 6 sections namely A- F depending on their grades. Class A hold the top student in every grade. In the story this Class hold the top seven of class A from first year up to third year and these student are labeled as Special A or SA Class which is where the anime got its title. This SA students had a special building where only the seven SA student can enter and hang out. Their uniform also is different which stands out from all of the students. These seven SA student has been close ever since their elementary year hence the other five SA students are very much aware between the gruesome rivalry of Hikari and Kei.

One of the most memorable part of the story was when Hiraki challenge Kei into are race where they had to circle the school. The one who finishes first wins the contest. All  of the seven SA student participated in the race but unknowingly they were ganging up on Kei and do every dirty trick so that Hiraki would win instead of Kei. Huge holes, traps and robots were made just to stop Kei but they would always fall into their own trap or Kei would always find ways to devour every hindrance they made. And the rest is History since as expected Kei was hard to beat.

Special A is a very nice anime to watch. It holds lesson and values which should be learned by everyone may it be a student. The story is nice but I find the entire episode to short and I believe It can hold more stories regarding school and family. This story is a romantic comedy not only will you learn lessons but the story is full of laughter and funny scenes.

My Verdict:
I would recommend this to everyone. This would be a good movie to watch with the entire family. Though the episodes are not at much as naruto and onepice Special A is packed with heart warming lesson and values. Graphic is good, characters are attractive and the story/plot is very nice and has been thought out excellently. It is absolutely worth watching.

Happy 1st anniversary to me and my langga!

March 18, 2011 and it has been a year since we started a relationship together. Just like any normal relationships we went through problems, trials and crisis in our relationship and i am very happy to say that up until now we are still strong and growing. And its all because of God who has kept our love strong and extended our patience to the max. And im very happy God never left our side.

Today we had a great day and spent 101% quality time. We went swimming, to the mall, had lunch and dinner together (shakey's still has the best pizza and chicken, specially the mojos) and took our picture with our couple shirts on plus i had the best gift ever (Ill try to post it here).

Over all i had a great time. My langga had a wonderfull time and our day ended with a blast full of hope, understanding, happiness and LOVE.

I love you so much my Lannga Cacai and more years to come for our relationship.

Chapter 6 - What a small world

And as i turned my head.

Mark: Andz, si Mariel, Mariel si andy close friend ko.

Wait a minute! She’s the girl in orange i saw the other day. But how could she be connected to mark?
And as i shook her hand i gave a small smile and said.

“Hi Mariel, na panood mo pala laro ko”
Mariel: uu naman noh. Sabi ni Mark me pa kikilala daw cya sakin eh. Ikaw pala yun.

Pretending i’ve never seen her before i said...

“Ha? Bat naman nasabi mo ako pala?
Mariel: ano ka ba. Wag mong sabihin sa ganda kong to makakalimutan mo ako?
“Ahehehe, uu nga naman pala. Kaw yung naka orange noh?”
Mariel: Uu, eh ang snob mo nga eh after ka pina kilala sa stage.

What the...Me? Snob? I mean I’ve been trying to get her attention and now im the snob one?

“hindi noh. Ako snob? Tanong mo pa ke Mark”
Mark: nakew. Chix boy yan si andy. Mag ingat ka jan.
“Loko ka Mark! Teka teka bat ba kayo magka kilala ni Mariel?
Mariel: Nyak! Diba nag lalaro din yan ng Tantra si Mark?

My goodness.I totally forgot Mark once played that game.

“Kaya pala. Pero sa dinami dami na friend mo si Mark pa?”
Mark: Hahaha, 2nd degree cousin ko si Mariel. At alam ko sino yang girl in orange na pinag post mo sa blog mo.

“ay nag babasa ka din pala ng blog ko?”
Mark: kaya alam ko . samin yan natulog after nung eyeball party nyo. Eh naka orange cya eh.
“idol na talaga kita. Eh bat ban a padpad yan dito? Di pa pala cya umuwi?

Bigla hinatak ako ni Mark at merong binulong sakin.

Mark: Me balak yan lumayas sa kanila. Wala ako ibang ma isip na kaibigan na pwede tumulong sa kaya.
“Nyak!Ikaw kaya yung tumulong sa kanya.
Mark: na hihibang ka na ba? Eh kung ma kita ako ng GF ko? Ako yung magiging masama!
“kahit na, pero bakit ako?”
Mark: kaw lang kasi pede ko pag ka tiwalaan, Tas same kayo mahilig sa game. Wala ka naman GF diba?
“Teka teka, diba pinsan mo cya bat sa inyo nalang sa tumuloy?
Mark: Naman si andy pag naka harap na ng chix d na gumagana utak! Lalayas yung tao sa kanila!
“Ay uu nga noh. Eh bat ako?”
Mark: ikaw na bahala sa lahat pre.Hanap ka ng matitirhan nya, san cya kakain at patulong na din sa pag hanap ng trabaho para sa kanya.

Whoa! Wait a minute. That’s a very very very big responsibility he’s giving me and in the first place i just met her. Well she’s pretty but what if Kaye see’s me with her? Baka tinitest lang ako nun? Sayang pinag hrapan ko.

Mariel: Oh ano na kayong dalawa jan? Tatayo lang ba ako d2 buong araw?
“Ay sorry Mariel, eto kasi si Mark pahamak”
Mariel:pahamak? Ay! Sinabi mo sa kanya Mark?!
Mark: d noh. Bat naman sasabihin ko.

Etong si Mark talaga pinahamak na nga ako ang sinungaling pa. Inde pa nga ako nag OO eh.

“Tara kain tayo. My treat. Gutom na din kasi ako eh.” And sinabi ko para ma iba ang topic.
Mariel: Tara (sabay pag hugot ng kamay ko)

And as I look at her smiling it seems i don’t see any problems with her. Why would she want to leave her home? But this feeling i had the first time i saw her all came back. As she took my hand i felt i needed to help her and be there for her. Well as what i would usually say: BAHALA NA!

Mariel, Mark and I went to dinner together. I found out Mariel had been playing Tantra for more than 4 years already and i had only been playing for less than a year. I also found out she’s from Camiguin and she had an older brother. Well she talks about games a lot and always jokes around. Parang ako lang. Kaso na iisip ko:

“Ok naman cya eh, love na love ng family nya. Spoiled sa kapatid at maganda. Bat ba cya lalayas?”

“Wala naman akong makitang problem sa kanya eh”

“Pero si Kaye. Baka ano ma isip o sasabihin nya pag nakita akong me kasamang iba”

At habang nag kkwentuhan sila ni Mark na iisip ko ang liit talaga ng mundo at pinag tagpo pa kami. Baka cya na yung hinahanap ko? Eh kaso... ganun din nararamdaman ko ke Kaye.

At bigla me tumawag sakin!

Mariel: Hoy andy! Ang layo ng iniisip mo.... ang cute mo tignan!
“Pag sure! Di nga ako maka kuha ng GF eh.
Mariel: ah basta cute ka.
Mark: Hoy Mariel! Anong oras na wala kana ma sasakyan pa uwi.

TEKA! Na lilito na ako?!?!? Kala ko ba lalayas cya? At bigla ko hinugot si Mark.

“Akala ko me balak yan umalis sa kanila?”pabulong kong sinabi ke Mark
Mark: Inde pa ngayon.Uuwi pa cya para kumuha ng mga gamit nya.
“eh kelan. Baka biglain ako nyan at sa bahay naming tutuloy ma lalagot ako sa Lola ko! Umayos ka!
Mark: basta relax ka lang jan ako na bahala.

Ano ba to. Kaka “IN YOUR FACE, I LOVE YOU AS A BROTHER” lang ni Kaye sakin eto naman na baka bigla biglaan.

Mariel: Oh ano Mark! Hahatid mo na ba ako sa terminal?
Mark: Cge Andz kitakits nalang. Hatid ko muna si Mariel.
Mariel: Bye Andy.Nice meeting you. See you nalang pag online ko.
“Cge, nice meeting you too.”

At habang pa sakay na cya sa taxi me naka limutan akong tanungin.

“Mariel, number mo?!”
Mariel: Ay, pag online ko nalang bibigay sayo. Or kunin mo nalang ke Mark mamaya.
“Cge, ingats kayo! Uwi na din ako.”

And when i got home my mom said “Hoy Andy! Asikasuhin mo yung computer mo! And ingay2x!

“Ha? Maingay? Eh pinatay ko na music nyan nung umalis ako”

And as i looked at my computer it was full of messages and Buzzing! At naka flood na messages:

KUMUSTA NA KAYO NI KAYE?!?!?

OK LANG YUNG PAG UUSAP NYO?

IKAW? ARE YOU OK?

ANDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! SAGOT KA NAMAN!

I checked my Yahoo Messenger and i noticed that the time these messages were sent was last 5 in the afternoon and its already almost 9 in the evening . As i was about to reply bigla nag message cya ulet.

ANDY? ANJAN KANA? KANINA PA AKO NAG AANTAY... 
“Uu kakauwi ko lang”

Oathtaking tickets are available at the Office of Professional Teachers, 3rd Floor, PRC Annex Building for NCR and Region IV passers starting November 18, 2010 (Thursday) and at the PRC regional offices for the passers from the other regions.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 4) 2 pieces 2” x 2” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 5) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 6) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals .

Chapter 5 – All tangled up.

I hate this feeling. It’s starting to eat me whole...
It’s 1 in the afternoon and I don’t feel like sleeping.
And the usual at this point of time my brother plays songs to help him sleep.

"Hindi malaman kung ano ang gagawin,
Sa damdamin na di ko ma amin sa sarili,
Kung bakit ka pa ba nanjan”

Hahaix, ano ba yang katang pinapatug-tug ng utol ko. Lalo ako kinakabahan sa mangyayari mamaya. Sana maganda kinalalabasan lalo na sa basketball team na hindi ko sisiputin.

"Sabi-sabi ng mga kaibigan ko
Huwag mong pilitin ang 'di para sa 'yo
Ngunit bakit hindi kita malimutan
Sa 'yo ba'y OK lang"

Well, mas importante naman tong ke Kaye. Bahala na! Once in a life time opportunity lang to. Yung basketball dami naman sila. At kung tunay ko silang kaibigan ma iintindihan nila ako bilang isang lalake.

"Habang tumatagal, lumalala, laging nagwawala
Tumitindi, umiinit, sumasakit ang dibdib
Kaya ako'y gumawa ng awiting ito na alay ko sa 'yo
At sana'y pakinggan mo"

Pero, bakit kaya biglang mag tetext si Kaye ng ganun. Di naman ako lagi pinag bibigyan nun pag inaaya ko cya makipag date. Eh kahit anong tulak ko sa sarili ko feeling ko ayaw nya sa akin...

"Huwag ka sanang magugulat sa akin
'Di ako sanay sa ganitong suliranin
Huwag kang matakot hindi ako manloloko
Kung OK lang sa 'yo”

Sabi pa ni Arthur na tigilan ko na cya. Wala daw ako ma papala...

Meron nga ako na kita. Yung babaeng naka Orange. Sino kaya yun? Bakit kung kelan ako na tamaan ng husto eto yung nakaraan ko nakikialam

Maaga na oras pero kulang yung allowance. Di na yata ako makakapag basketball. Ma text nga si Mark para malaman na nila na wala ako.

3:15 na. Andito na ako sa Mall. Sabi ni Kaye pa punta na daw cya...

While Me and Kaye were heading to Dunkin I can feel my Phone vibrate non-stop. I can feel it, It’s Mark and the team looking for me already. It’s already 3:20 and I still need 20 min to travel going to the tournament.

Kaye: Hoy Andy! Kanina pa kita kinakausap. Bat tulala ka?

Potek kala ko MAHAL KITA. I’m looking at my watch and its 3:35 already and my cell phone has 32 unread messages. Patay!

Kaye: Andy. Mahal din kita bilang kapatid

And at that moment I didn’t know what to say. I tried to fake a smile but it’s no good. I don’t know if I made the right choice to talk to her or I should have gone to the basketball game.

“Kaye, d ko na alam ano sasabihin ko. Parang pinapunta mo lang ako para ma saktan ako”

Kaye: na ayaw ko masira yung friendship at samahan natin.

Why is it that I’m feeling like this is the worst day of my life.

And as she is walking further away from me I feel the uncertainties slip away. I don’t know what she really meant but I have to respect her side. I hope that what she said about for the good of both of us is true.

And at that moment, I can hear my phone vibrate. And in an instant I looked at my watch and ran off.

I hope I can make it in time sa basketball tournament.

Coach: mamaya kana mag paliwanag! Mag bihis kana at papasok na kita.

At that moment I thought I wasn’t important but. The way Mark looked at me even if he is so pissed off because of me being late I can see that he is relieved that I’m here, that I am a person very important to the team. And as I stepped inside the court I can feel that I belong to something very important. I don’t know about Kaye. Bat ba pumapasok cya sa utak ko.

Earlier I felt so low,
so down,
so sad and frustrated.

But, every time they pass me the ball and make a play I feel that they are very happy that I am one of them. While we are playing longer the stronger we get.

PASOK TAYO SA FINALS!!! Yun na narinig ko! Si coach, sila Ethan panay sigaw, and buong team parang nasisiraan na nag bait at si Mark inde na naka tayo sa kanyang pwesto sa sobrang saya!

Ganun pa man pilit ko pinapasaya sarili ko kahit sa lahat na nangyari sakin sa araw na to. Sigaw ako ng sigaw at sabay tumatalon.

The shouting and the laughing I heard someone in a cute voice

Shouting:

Who could that be? And Mark started to whisper something to my ears before I could turn around and see who that cute voice was.

Astigmatism is killing me right now.

Since last night i had a headache due to astigmatism and up until now I'm still feeling the headaches. Its really bugging me and i can't work productively when i have headaches. It's a pain when i try to talk in front of my class then the painful bumps and pinches in my head and eyes always gets in the way which really distracts me a lot and i tend to lose my concentration on the lesson I'm trying to discuss.

What is astigmatism and what causes it?
