I was about to download some stuff when i bumped into this from pspslimhack.com. PC PSP Emulator: JPCSP v0.2 Revision 1078
The JPCSP Team – creators of the PC Based Java PSP Emulator have released an update. This latest build has added basic GE capture support and more bug fixes.
Added basic GE capture support, tested on cube sample. Until we record persistent GE state (texture on/off, etc) for best results replay captures in the same game it was recorded in.
Fixed a refresh bug. Open menu trick should no longer be needed (click on File menu, it overlaps the display area and forces it to redraw, sometimes making something appear).
Well if this is true then what a joy for those who can't afford to buy PSP. But bad for Sony since less would opt to buy a PSP console. Still i think there is a downside to this type of emulator or playing PSP games from PCs:
It ain't portable. Unlike PSP consoles u can't play anywhere and anytime you wan't
If your computer specs doesn't meet the requirements of the emulator u won't enjoy playing psp or the emulator might not run at all.
Haven't tested it yet. But even if i have my own PSP ill try the emulator so that i can really compare it well. To all PSP peeps who cant afford to buy PSP here's your chance. ^_^
