7thAndZ Pokemon X (3ds) - 7thAndZ v.s. Serena Online Battle (Battle Spot)

Pokemon X Log no. 0005
November 13, 2014

The battle started out obvious that Serena would send in Mawile and bring Greninja out to lower my attack power. So i had to take care of Mawile first so that there won't be any threat when my Charizard-X enters the battle field. Everything was going as planned since i knew My Charizard-X is faster than his Dragonite. I didn't expect that greninja would be able to freeze Charizard-X and and when my Clefable also got frozen my only chance was to thaw out. Good thing luck was on my side. Need more practice in using boosts ~_~

7thAndZ Pokemon X (3ds) - Vivillion Addiction

Pokemon X Log no. 0003
September 4, 2014

The first time my eyes saw this Gen 6 butterfly I said to myself "Well, this is better than Butterfree." So I decided to capture a couple and raise it later. As I played through the game I was able to battle a NPC at the Battle Chateau and saw another Vivillion but this time it has a different design. So I though it was gender differences but it wasn't. So i tried to find one an later got frustrated cause no matter how many times I try it always ends up the same design pattern which is the High Plains pattern (as seen in the picture below).

So as frustrated as I am, I decided to get one over the GTS. And i was even more surprised as I saw more than two patterns. I was so amazed and from that moment on I had the Vivillion Addiction!

I eventually found out there were 18 regular patterns and 2 event patterns. And after a couple of days this is what i was able to achieve.
I got all 18 regular patterns but only 1 event pattern.
I was too late when I found out about the event.

Finally I have satisfied my quest in collecting these addictive Gen 6 butterflies but my addiction has not ended since I need to get my hands on one more event pattern. And i hope in Omega Ruby there will be more new patterns to collect. It's also time for you to jump in the "Vivillion Addiction Fever". Till next time.

7thAndZ Pokemon X (3DS) - Poketransporter and Pokebank [Log 0001]

After completing the game I could not help but think about my hard earned Pokemons on my Pokemon Black 2. Not to mention the Dream World Pokemons where you have to go through the different maps and the amount of time I invested in Pokemon-gl.com.

With this in mind I had to get the Poketransporter and the Pokebank. I was to late for the free trial so i had to buy a Nintendo eCard. Thanks to my cousin Rey a.k.a Banoy from Australia I was able to get a hand on a $20 Nintendo ecard.

Now I am able to transfer all my Pokemon from Black 2 to Pokemon X. YEY!

7thAndZ in Pokemon X

Finally I got my own handheld console and a Pokemon X 3ds game cart. Well I'm sort of a late bloomer.

I started out immediately my first Pokemon X journey on August 2, 2014 and as usual like all other Pokemon games I've played I always go for the Fire type. I just like fire types. so i choose:

I trained a Fenekin which i named Iya which has just evolved as shown on the picture above. And like any other Pokemon games I will have to train my Pokemon and battle 8 gym leaders and obtain 8 gym badges for me to battle the elite 4. But of course the game would be straight out borring with out the villains: Team Flare which battles with fashion and style with the plot of cleaning the entire population and saving only members of Team Flare. I as the hero should try to stop them. Good thing EXP SHARE works better in Pokemon X and was able to level-up and train my Mons very well. But, I didn't loot at EVs ans IVs at the moment. All I was focused on was to finish the game first. Yeah soon enough i was able to defeat team flare and was able to encounter the Legendary Pokemon Xerenas:

I believe i slept at 2 a.m just to finish this part of catching Xerenas. Also another NEW and awesome feature introduced in Pokemon X is the Megaevolution. My first mega evo pokemon was Lucario and followed by Charizard. Currently Im completing the megastones and will be posting soon on the mega evolution I obtained.

There are Two Mega Charizard and what I have in my game is the Mega Charizard X which in my opinion is way cooler and looks much scary compared to Mega Charizard Y. With the help of the the Mega Evolution technology. I was able to reach the elite 4.

Sadly I was so hooked up with my elite 4 battle that I was not able to take screenshots. But eventually I was victorious with my quest on defeating the elite 4 and finished the game on August 10, 2014.

After done with the game I can now get on to Completing the National dex of 700+ Pokemons and start breeding and training my team of future battles. Ill be updating as much as I can regarding this game specially with the post game features of Pokemon X.

Tekken Revolution: Coin/Ticket/Gift Point System Explanation

Unlocking Characters
Characters can be unlocked by accumulating gift points when you reach one of the specified thresholds below one of the characters below are added to your roster at random OR they can be purchased at the PSN store. (This feature is already out on the JP servers. US and possible EU(?) will be able to do the same on September 24th)
Currently Unlockable Characters:
Steve Alisa Bryan Leo Jin Ling Hwoarang Dragunov Devil Jin Kunimitsu
Newly Released Characters (11/22(?)):

Arcade Bosses Only:
 and Ogre
Currently these three are only in the game as CPU opponents in Arcade Mode but considering their data is already "in the game" they MAY be unlockable but I haven't seen anything confirming this personally.
Speculated Characters:
Winning Arcade Mode shows some splash art of characters that are currently unplayable, but just maybe it means they'll be in the game later? (not many left at this point)
Jun, Anna, Eddy, Lei,

Accumulating Gift Points:
You earn Gift Points via Arcade, Ranked and Player Matches for Arcade and Ranked win or lose you get the same amount but Player Match seems to vary, maybe based off of level(?)

Logging in: 100 Points
10th Login 100 Points
Arcade Mode: 10 Points Per Stage 30 For Final Stage
Player Matches 10~100 Points Per Match
I got 50 for losing but 10 points for winning two matches in a row against low level opponents.
Ranked Matches 100 Points Per Match

Gift Point Unlock Benchmarks:
Properly "documented" Gift Point Unlocks that I've been able to confirm via stream and personally are:
1,000(?) Gift Points: 1st Character
7,000 Gift Points: 2nd Character
10,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward
30,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward AND Third Character
40,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward
50,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward
60,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward AND Fourth Character
70,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward
80,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward
90,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward AND Fifth Character
120,000 Gift Points: 100,000G Reward AND Sixth Character
Every 30,000 after will unlock a new character.
Apparently in the upcoming update this may get changed to 60K per character, I'm guessing
to further push people to pay money for characters instead of grind it out?

Earning Premium Tickets
Ways to earn Premium Ticket(s) that I've noticed are also as follows:
x1 Ticket
Daily Login Bonus (once per day)
Beat Arcade Mode Once
Beat Arcade Mode 10 Times
Beat Arcade Mode 30 Times
Beat Arcade Mode 50 Times
Beat Arcade Mode 100 Times
Win 5 Matches (Total)
Win10 Matches (Total)
Win 30 Matches (Total)
Win 50 Matches (Total)
Win 100 Matches (Total)
Every 100 cumulative wins gains you a ticket.
Arcade Mode gives you tickets ever 50 clears after 100.
Win a match while using ONLY a Premium Ticket or Coin (refunds your used currency)
(Some values in-between 100 and 300 are missing)
x3 Tickets
Login 10 times
x5 Ticket
Login 30 times

Premium Tickets
Premium Tickets allow you to keep playing as long as you continue to win it will return your ticket to you. If you lose when using the Ticket you get 500 EXP instead the smaller amount. Also you can use Premium Tickets in Arcade Mode but from what I've seen it only gives you a x3 Multiplier to all of your bonuses.

Premium Coins
Premium Coins work exactly the same as Premium Tickets they can only be consumed when you have run out of the Token you are attempting to use Arcade or Online. When you win a match you are "refunded" one Token in the form of Premium Ticket to continue playing similar to an Arcade Machine. If you lose you have the option to use another coin or buy more.
The coins can be purchased from the PSN store in bundles of 4, 10 or 30.
4 Coins $.99 (~$.25 each)
10 Coins $1.99 (~$.20 each)
30 Coins $4.99 (~$.17 each)

Winning with regular tokens doesn't win you back anything unless you reach one of the benchmarks.

Regular Tokens
Regular coins refresh at a SAME rate if the system is OFF or ON
Arcade Coins: Max 2 Refreshes Every Hour
Online Coins: Max 5 Refreshes Every 30mn
Regular Tokens are used BEFORE Premium Tickets AND Coins.
If you use an Arcade Coin and lose you do not get to continue from where you left off.
If you use an Online Coin WIN OR LOSE you gain the same amount of points. (But because you gain tickets for accumulated wins you lose out on getting potential tickets)

Leveling Up
You gain EXP Points from playing matches, and use Skill Points and Fight Money to level up your characters three stats Power, Endurance and Vigor. The Skill Points you gain are given to all of your characters when you level up.

Experience Points
EXP works slightly different than Gift Points, you gain different amounts if you win or lose but it depends on what you're using.

Gaining EXP
Arcade Mode:
With a Regular Tokens: 10 EXP PTs Win/Lose
Final Boss Fight gives 30EXP Win/Lose
Online Matches:
With a Regular Tokens: 200 EXP PTs Win/Lose
With a Premium Ticket/Coin: 200~250 EXP Win 500 Lose
EXP gain may be based off of ranks, where higher ranks gain more EXP from a match.

Using Skill Points
ALL characters gain 4 Skill Points when you level up.
If you unlock a character after levelling up they will have access to all of the Skill Points you've obtained relevant to your level. You can use them to upgrade one of the three attributes, each level requires a set amount of money.Currently the max level is 50.
Fight Money Cost Per Point:
1-4 2,00G 69-89 110,000G
5-9 10,000G 89-109 120,000G
